If you visit Banbury Museum & Gallery you may notice some changes are happening!
We are creating a fresh and exciting new museum shop. Thanks to a grant awarded from the Garfield Weston Foundation, we are creating a new entrance and shop from the
Castle Quay Shopping Centre. This will help us provide a fantastic new welcome and shopping experience for our all our visitors.
The work is taking place between 31st August and the 15th October with the new shop and entrance due to open on Saturday 16th October.
The Museum is open, including the Banbury Gallery and our temporary exhibition ‘I Grew Up in the 80’s, while we carry out this refurbishment work.
However, the entrance from Castle Quay shopping centre is closed and there is no access to the Waterways Gallery.
Access to the Museum will be from the Spiceball Park Rd entrance, only.’
There is a small selection of Shop merchandise available in the Museum foyer including cards, souvenirs, and gifts, so don’t forget to stop by.
We thank you for your patience, while we carry out this vital work and look forward to sharing this new and revitalised space with you soon.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
