How to book
If you are ready to book your school visit or require further information contact enquiries@banburymuseum.org.
Once you have read and understood our Essential Information pack, let us know if you would like to make a pre-visit or speak directly to the learning team about your needs.
Come and meet us at our Teacher Twilight Session
If you’d like to find out if one of our workshops is right for your school, you are warmly invited to our informal Teacher Twilight Session on Tuesday 29th September, 4–6pm.
Come and have a drink, meet the Learning Team, see and handle the resources we use in our workshops, and chat to other teachers.
It’s a chance to ask us about anything that might make organising a visit difficult; from choosing the right workshop to staffing, additional needs, timings or whether an outreach session might work better for your school.
No pressure to sign up, just come and meet the team and see what we can offer.

Useful Information
SEND and accessibility
Please do contact us on enquiries@banburymuseum.org if individuals in your group have particular needs. Our sessions are designed to be flexible as possible.

Self-led visits
We very much welcome self-led visits to the Museum. An administration fee of £25 covers all booking arrangements, a brief introduction by Museum staff and bag/ coat storage for your group. Please contact enquiries@banburymuseum.org for more information. Booking is essential.
To ensure the safety and well-being of your children in a public space, the Museum requires that your adult/child ratio is:
1:5 for Reception
1:6 for Years 1-3
1:10 for Years 4-6
This is in addition to 1-2-1 support for individual children.
There is a ticket fee per child for PYE Gallery exhibitions, but not for accompanying adults needed for your ratio.
Lunch room
The lunch room is FREE if your workshop extends for a full morning or full day. If your group has a shorter workshop, or is self-led, the lunch room can be hired for £15.
