British Wildlife Photography Awards 2023

This autumn, Banbury Museum & Gallery welcomes the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2023.

This highly acclaimed and exceptional exhibition brings the best of this year’s competition in a captivating celebration of British Wildlife and a showcase of the country’s leading nature photographers. Not only does this exhibition capture nature photography at its very finest but is also a crucial reminder of the value of Britain’s precious habitats and ecosystems.  

With 13,000 images submitted for this year’s competition, the exhibition features over 80 of the shortlisted and winning submissions spanning 10 different categories from Animal Behaviour to Botanical Britain and from Wild Woods and Hidden Britain to Urban Wildlife. Plus, the winners of the three junior categories.

This year’s competition images, at times poignant and thought provoking, are a window into Britain’s nature and sure to delight and inspire.
