Description:
Each week we lead a discovery of different themes using music, poems, stories and familiar nursery rhymes.
We begin with a hello to settle everyone into the session, gradually bringing out different sensory props and instruments to support the theme and the songs we are singing along to. We then finish with bubbles and a goodbye.
The 40 minute session is very relaxed and participants are encouraged to join in as little or as much as they want to. They are free to discover the glowing items throughout. There is time to settle and time for free play at the beginning and end of each session.

Each child participating in the event requires their own ticket. Parents and guardians supervision is required throughout the event. Our team will be on hand to offer help and demonstrations, but be prepared to get ‘stuck in’. There are a limited number of spaces available at this event, to secure your ticket please book now using the button above. The event may sell out and we cannot guarantee there will be tickets available on the day.
Location:
This event will be held indoors in the Education Room at Banbury Museum & Gallery. Please arrive and check in with one of our friendly staff members at the Museum Reception.
Family Access Information:
The museum is fully accessible by lift – perfect for pushchairs transporting sleepy heads. Baby change facilities and toilets are available on all floors of the museum. There is plenty of space to park pushchairs and adventure by foot.

Pavement Coffee Co. is a family friendly Café situated canalside at Banbury Museum & Gallery. They serve a range of homemade sandwiches, cakes and salads with lots of child friendly options available.
