Rosemarie Higham Library
Flooded with natural light and overlooking the tranquil Oxford Canal, the Rosemarie Higham Library is Banbury’s hidden gem for private hire.
Whether you’re hosting a business meeting, creative workshop, training session or small reception, this beautifully designed room offers an inspiring setting that combines history, culture, and modern comfort.
Located on the first floor, the Library can accommodate small or informal meetings. This bright and airy space works really well for team meetings and workshops.

*Day and half day rates are based on a 6 hour day and 3 hour half day respectively. Hire is available during museum opening times, 10am-4pm, Monday to Saturday. Some flexibility can be offered for early starts and finishes.

Education Studio
The biggest conference space the museum has to offer sits on the lower ground floor behind our café space. The room can seat up to 60 theatre style and its size can accommodate various layouts. The room usually hosts conferences, lectures, educational workshops, and open days but has also been a yoga venue!

Banbury Museum & Gallery sits beside the Oxford Canal in the heart of Banbury’s Castle Quay shopping district.
Easily reached by rail (5-minute walk from Banbury Station), bus, or car (multi-storey parking nearby).
Accessibility
The museum is fully accessible with lift access to ever level of the museum, step free access from both entrances and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Our Education Studio also includes a hearing loop. Quieter times in the museum include during the week, in term time.
