Admission and opening hours

The Banbury Museum is located in the town of Banbury, in north Oxfordshire. We are well served by road, rail and bus, and we are situated on the Oxford Canal.

Admission

Entry to the museum and permanent exhibitions is free of charge. There is a small charge for entry to our special exhibitions

Opening Hours

The museum’s galleries are open Monday – Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Banbury Museum is open Bank Holidays 10.30am – 4.30pm.
 We are closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Years Day.

As a trust we welcome donations and you will spot donation boxes inside the museum. These donations allow Banbury Museum to continue bringing the best exhibitions to North Oxfordshire.
