The Imagination Museum is a danced heritage tour, integrating words and movement, taking place at Banbury Museum as part of The Mill Arts Centre’s Dance Banbury Festival.
Three eccentric tour-guide characters work in The Imagination Museum – Mildred (the boss), Henrietta (the mischievous one) and Harriet (the imaginative one). They greet the audience and introduce them to an imaginative world of movement inspired by artefacts from Banbury Museum’s collection and local history.

Expect a playful, imaginative and surprising experience suitable for all ages, particularly children and families.

There are three performances, at 11.00am, 12.45pm and 3.45pm. This event is free, but booking is essential. Tickets are available on The Mill’s website.

A fun dance workshop takes place at 1.30pm, offering a chance for audience members to join us to explore the story of Banbury.

Suitable for all ages.

The Imagination Museum is contemporary dance with story-telling/text created and performed by Made by Katie Green.
