My first museum visit

Using torches and magnifying glasses your pupils go on a treasure hunt collecting secret hidden treasures in the galleries and handling real museum objects.

Museums are beary good fun

We’re going on a museum bear hunt! Using props and costume pupils explore the galleries to find the bears hidden in mysterious places and make their very own bear collage to take home and share.

Canal Adventure

Meet Sally and Simon our special museum puppets who will guide your pupils in our ‘Waterways Gallery’ as they play the canal games and our special ‘eye spy’ game whilst standing over the Oxford Canal. A magical space for our younger visitors.

Nursery Rhyme Time

Lots of learning (and fun) to be had following our nursery rhyme trail. A highly interactive session where pupils use role play, props and objects from the museum collection to explore our galleries and match the objects to the rhymes.
