Banbury Museum will be reopening its doors on Monday 10 August.
We are extremely happy to announce this after COVID closure and are looking forward to welcoming visitors back through the museum doors to enjoy our collections. We will be opening the museum with our brand new temporary exhibition Brick Built, an impressive collection of LEGOⓇ models ranging from iconic buildings to the far reaches of space.
We will ask visitors to book a day in advance so we can manage numbers and social distancing to keep visitors safe.
The museum will be open 10am – 4pm Monday – Saturday.
Our shop is open 10am – 4pm Monday – Saturday.
We have been working hard to put measures in place to keep you as safe as possible while you peruse our beautiful range of lifestyle gifts, greeting cards and amazing displays of local talent. We look forward to welcoming you in soon. Please see below the health and safety measures you will find in store:
A member of our friendly team will welcome all customers in to the shop.
Please adhere to 2m distancing – stickers are on the floor to remind customers and we have them by the till point to help with any queues.
A hand sanitiser station is positioned for customers to use as they come in and they are welcome to use it as they leave too.
Our staff will be wearing full PPE.
Screens are in place at our till points.
We can only accept card payments at this time.
We will only be allowing 4 customers in at anytime to manage safe distancing in store.
Please be patient if you are asked to wait outside a few minutes when we are busy.
Toms Diner is open with brand new American inspired menus. We would like to encourage you all to book a table and check out the new menus on their facebook.
Please use the entrance via the towpath.
