In light of the latest government guidlines the Museum is temporarily closed.

The Museum Shop opens 12th April 2021.

Unfortunately the Pye Gallery is currently closed in line with governement guidlines.

Our current exhibition Portrayals brings together more than 45 original paintings and drawings by some of the country’s most celebrated twentieth century and contemporary artists, including David Hockney, Lucian Freud and Paula Rego. Read more about Portrayals here.

We have extended our exhibition to run until 4th July 2021 to enable more people to see it.

We hope to open booking for tickets on 10th May 2021 in anticipation of the Museum opening on 17th May 2021.
