The Museum is open.

Opening Times: Mon-Fri   10am-4pm

                                  Sat  10am-5pm

                                  Sun 11am-3pm

Covid safe protocols remain in place and we invite you to wear a mask and keep your distance from other visitors. Access to the museum will remain from Castle Quay shopping centre, via the Museum Shop.

When you arrive at the Museum every member of your party will be asked to sign in with the NHS Track and Trace QR code, NHS Covid App or provide their contact details. These are securely held by the Museum for 21 days and in line with government guidance. 

Our current temporary exhibition ‘Portrayals: Drawings and Paintings from the Arts Council Collection including David Hockney, Lucian Freud and Paula Rego.’  is open however places are limited so we recommended you book your ticket ahead. Click here for more information and for booking.
